"Komar" started out as a way for me to pass some alone time on vacation. After I wrote the first main theme and its first derivation, I could feel the scope of the project grow in my imagination. Inspired by my surroundings and the musical ideas bubbling, I decided to write a set of tracks all belonging together. I wasn't too concerned about the music telling a narrative along the way; I just wanted to write several tracks that exist in the same world. Specifically, I imagined that world to be a video game world similar to maybe something like....Death's Gambit? Sundered?
